CREATING SUSTAINABILITY-CONSCIOUS COMMUNITIES

We are a new sustainability-focused social enterprise based in South London, with our home in the Brixton area.

Our main focus is educating people, especially young adults (16-25), in domestic skills to help them sustain themselves, their community and the planet, as they transition from family/school to independent lives.

By teaching the community, especially the young, to be conscious citizens that know how to be sustainable, we help to incorporate a net-zero approach in their lives.

After all, prevention is better than mitigation!

Our Team

  • Elizabeth

I am a dedicated healthcare professional and a passionate foodie with thirst for exploring cultures.

Growing up in a tropical environment with influence from Caribbean parents, I have nurtured a deep connection with nature from a young age.

My journey into sustainability began with a deep love for the paradise I grew up in, and a passionate desire to maintain it for generations to come.

I am driven by my desire of creating strong connections interpersonally, and creating a lasting network of support.

  • Marco

I am a natural scientist, environmental educator and home-hack enthusiast.

During my childhood in rural Italy, I developed a strong relationship with nature through the study of wildlife and learning from my family traditions.

When moving to the big city, I realized the challenge of living in an urban life while continuing nurturing my love for nature and cultural roots.

I love sharing stories on how to connect traditional practices, natural living and scientific knowledge, with the needs and means of London life and rhythms.

  • Valerie

I am a data science professional and avid traveller with an interest in natural and built environments.

I was born in Southeast Asia and grew up in Australia and feel a strong connection to both cultures. Travelling my home country and others has given me a deep appreciation for the natural world and motivation to ensure its preservation.

I am very early in my sustainability journey but am excited to learn.

  • Ali

I moved to London 8 years ago from a small village in Northern Italy, where I grew up surrounded by mountains and nature.

I've studied foreign languages, worked in hospitality for a few years before moving into finance in 2019. I am passionate about coaching and sharing experiences with people.

Living in London has made me realise how much we could learn from different cultures but also how important it is to maintain a connection with your own roots and way of living.

  • Alishia

I am a zoology student, travel enthusiast and passionate writer, with a love for nature.

Born and raised in London, yet deeply shaped by my family’s roots in Mauritius, I built a deep relationship with the natural world through stories of its incredible wildlife and ecosystems.

However, balancing studies alongside city life and a passion for the environment doesn't always come easy - being a student often means navigating a tight budget whilst keeping up with the latest trends.

Because of this, I want to help others see that practical sustainability is easily achievable, even with the constraints of student life.
